How to survive
One team, the dark, one flashlight each. Here's what you need to know before you go in. The mini-games below are playable.

Restore the power
Repair the 5 generators. Every repair starts a skill check: stop the needle in the white zone. Miss it and the noise brings the creature.

Find the keys
Locked doors hide what comes next. Search the rooms, read the staff notes, grab every key: each one brings the whole team closer to the exit.

Hide
The creature hunts by sound. Slip into a locker or a wardrobe: while you're hidden, it can't see you.

Power back on = exit open. But it knows that too. Run, don't look back, and don't drop your flashlight.

Is BLACKOUT free?

How many players?
1 to 12 players per room. You can also play story mode alone, with a save at every chapter.
Which devices can I play on?
Computer, phone and tablet, with your Roblox account. Touch controls are built in.
How do I survive the creature?
Restore the power without missing skill checks, hide when it gets close (it hunts by sound), keep your flashlight and pick up downed teammates.
Can I play the monster?
Yes. One player can become the Killer and hunt the others. The Killer Pass triples your chances of being picked.
How many chapters are there?
9 chapters, with several routes and several endings, from Hollow Pines Research Station to Blackwater Island.
Is it actually scary?
Yes: jumpscares, chases and a very dark atmosphere. Skip it if you hate being startled.
